Something about Paris gives it a charming atmosphere. Maybe it's the idea of eating crepes and macaroons, or popping a bottle of champagne while the Eiffel Tower sparkles in the background. Maybe it's the endless art, museums, and architecture. Maybe it's just from what we've seen in the movies. Whatever it is, it sure holds true, because "charming" is exactly the word I would use to describe Paris.

Like many cities, Paris is centered around the Seine river
Paris seemed to have a color scheme of blue & gold, and I loved it
Notre Dame Cathedral, if you go at the right time you can enter while mass is going on.
Really an awesome experience! (& it's free)
The Louvre, the biggest art museum in the world, has so much to see. In fact, it's almost impossible to see it all. It would take 100 days, from open to close, to see every piece of art, and that's only if you looked at each piece for 30 seconds. The famous glass pyramid was added to the Louvre Museum in the 1980s, making it one of the most recent additions.
The Sacré-Cœur, the beautiful basilica in the Montmartre district that has the best view of Paris form the steps. Although it is quite a trek to get to it, it is so worth it.
Must tries of Paris:
Crepes - everywhere you go!
Croque-monsieur/madame - grilled ham & cheese with a fried egg
Le Tire Bouchon - crepe restaurant in Montmartre, you can leave little notes all over the walls
& an Eiffel Tower picnic
